PROGRAM STRATEGY
WISE programs are designed to provide holistic services to survivors of violence. We integrate counseling, medical, financial and other support services with advocacy, training, capacity building and mentoring. Our objective is to empower our clients to take control of their lives and transform the institutional and societal structures which propagate the cycle of violence. The WISE strategy addresses immediate challenges while also focusing on transforming the future.
1. RESPOND: The WISE-UP program focuses on strengthening and expanding existing counseling and support services, training and development of service providers, research and advocacy, networking and collaboration and organizational capacity building.
2. EMPOWER ECONOMICALLY The Women's Economic Empowerment and Development (WEED) is a pilot program to promote economic independence for survivors. Our approach integrates counseling, micro-credit schemes, skills training, and public advocacy to the ultimate goal of empowerment.
3.
