WISE Volunteer Program - Journalism/Photojournalism
Jounalism: This project dedicates volunteers to creating literature, press releases and any other necessary written materials about WISE and issues concerning WISE. Program duration is a minumum of 10 weeks.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
• Attending and reporting on WISE events
• Writing articles and press releases concerning WISE and related issues
• Researching WISE archives and creating publishable materials
Ideal candidates will have a background in Journalism or have experience writing informative materials. Please submit a writing sample when applying for this position.
Photojouranlism: This program dedicates a volunteer to capturing WISE events and day to day activities on camera. This program is limited to certain time frames when WISE is experiencing a high rate of activity. We will be accepting volunteers for this postion between October and December due to the many programs in which WISE engages. Please inquire about other periods when we will be accepting volunteers for this position. Program duration is a minimum of 10 weeks.
