WISE Volunteer Program - Business Advisory Services
This program dedicates one volunteer to advising between 2 and 5 chosen participants (both refugees and non-refugees). This volunteer is to help advice those who are already producing a product in matters of marketing, product packaging, costing and pricing, and other business skills that will help the participants earn more profit. Program duration is a minimum of 3 months.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Guiding and advising participants on business skills.
- Helping participants create and implement a business plan.
- Developing a venue for participants to exhibit their products.
- Assisting participants to find monies to expand businesses, if necessary
Ideal candidates must has a background in business or experience mentoring, especially in micro-finance skills.
